On the way back from a trip, we had a layover at the Houston airport. LEGO has been adding more store in airports lately, so I was pleased to see one here.
The entrance featured a brick built astronaut, which makes sense considering Houston is home to the NASA Command Center.
There’s also another brick built figure with a space-like emblem on her torso, on a pedestal that identifies the store.

Some sets are on display with an Octan center on the other side.

I really have to wonder who buys these large sets in an airport. I mean, the box for Rivendell alone is likely larger than most carryon luggage. Do the airlines actually allow this?
Not to mention, it looked like the prices were a bit higher, too. I check out 21368 Snoopy’s Doghouse, and it was $10 more than RRP. I guess that’s the airport premium.
Like all airport stores, the real estate was pretty small.

I didn’t see any local exclusives.
It’s always fun to check out LEGO stores in airports, though I don’t usually buy anything from them.
