The second instruction book of 10228 is dedicated to the second floor. I really like how the instructional designers worked this out to make the books work out so cleanly for the build.

As seen in the image above some of the windows are shutters on the verge of flying off instead of being boarded over. I made sure to take this picture at an able where you can see the back door and porch – I’ve always appreciated how this entrance had a good amount of detail instead of being an afterthought.

With the two floors, opening up the model is starting to look more impressive.

The second floor furniture is added, and some of the minifigures are put into place as well.

As noted on the previous post, discoloured bricks are noticed again here, particularly the grey flooring.

This is also a great opportunity to point out the great detailing on the chimney of this set!

Next, we’ll wrap up the build, and I want to see how it looks next to 11383 Mayor Manor.
